The word "opposition political party" we are all fretting over is just a mirage to me. There is no opposition as the current government is dominated by people from the preceding government/administration. When this political immigrants then starts blaming the previous government for the economy's deterioration, I begin to wonder why no one realise that the blame is actually addressing the speakers.
Getting engrossed in fighting the government we don't want in power or political opponents that we don't notice that those we should be fighting instead of ourselves and interests are still the ones in power but under a rebranded political party/agenda.
Our blames and tackling the government/opposition can only be effective when we divert our agitations into removing corrupt, unproductive government and replacing them with competent, honest and dedicated leaders irrespective of their political parties.
Narrowing our interest to the political party alone has been our undoing, we vote for the party not the political aspirants and when things go wrong, we continue the blame cycle. We should wake up from the delusioned slumber, assess all political aspirants and efforts in serving the people. When we proceed with replacing all conceited, corrupt leaders in powers irrespective of their political party and tenure length , only then can we see evident boom in our economy and it's various sectors.
The moment you identify the nonfunctional, fraudulent leaders with penalty for their negligence, we would then be able to identify that we are the only opposition we have. Broaden your mind and be ready to adapt to changes that boost the quality of life even if the candidate responsible for it don't share the same political views as we do.
Politics and political parties should be an umbrella for people of si ilar views to meets and strategize ways to serve their people and improve quality of life. Politics shouldn't be a game of who slanders the most, it should be a goal of who can offer the best quality of life and infrastructure to the people he serves.
Utilise the open system of the political cycle. Don't enslave your mind to mindlessly vote in the flashy aspirants. Realising that every aspirant you vote in irrespective of the political party will play a part in shaping our future and economy should be enough to make us indiscriminate in our vote.
Vote for the aspirant with an agenda and zeal for service not just the political party. Criticise the government not because they are not from your political but because there are identified deficits that should be corrected. Be ready to advocate eviction of incompetent leaders who may even share your political ideology.
Understanding politics and votes should be geared towards the best service-oriented leader in power is the key to a successful economy. Maybe when we become open-minded are we going to identify the true opposition to fight.
