Science refers to humans as higher animals and beings even when there are animals stronger than us to the point of causing us harm. Some of us try to justify our superiority with religion that God made us supreme over them and to use them for our survival while some of us attribute our superiority to knowing the difference between right and wrong, decision making. The ability to choose between right and wrong is one of the unique traits we have as human beings, it is not surprising that the concept of right and wrong has been attributed to our religion, social values, culture and ethnicity.
Occasional conflicts arise to dispute if conscience is truly a guide for our actions. Some of us may argue that the concept is nonexistent when we see people engage in cruelty and social vices without remorse while some of us will still insist the concept can't be ignored but can be suppressed in our minds.
What we fail to realise is that whether or not we come terms with it, the conscience is an existent concept that we indulge in. People who seem not to have it are like that because they have been taught, disciplined, orientated and engaged in such act with people telling them it is just the right thing to do. People who seem to be too cautious of their actions are that way because they have grown under guidance, culture and laws that mandate them not to indulge in those acts that we view as cruel and abominable.
The concept of conscience can be the solution to our problems and our undoing. Conscience can save lives when we adopt a new way of seeing right and wrong that will benefit others and clear example of this is accepting that no ethnicity, social class or race is superior to us and we treat everyone with love, kindness & respect, and fight for the rights of the oppressed & underprivileged even with their diversity. Conscience would become our doom when people are coerced, manipulated and made to believe that their actions are right even when it poses a threat to humanity, a clear example is the white supremacy concept some people live on.

THE WAR WITHIN US.
Today we are all agitating about the indiscriminate killings, bombings, social conflicts and all the occurrences that pose a threat to our existence and peace. Mass media, social media and the society is abuzz with news, discussions and thoughts about the insurgencies happening close or far away from us while some of us keep mute about the issue. What is the Genesis of these wars? Who is to blame? How can we help those caught up in it?
While some of us believe peace is disrupted when people are engaged in physical assault and oppression. Some of us believe war erupt when our freedom is taken from us and our lives becomes pawn in the hands of those who threaten our social equilibrium and peace.
The rest of us believe war is beyond the explosions, insults, assaults, kidnappings, pilage, killings and media misrepresentation we witness. We believe that war starts when our heart is in discord with the standard that our society has set.
The confusing truth is that every war, conflict and social unrest experienced have an origin traced to our minds and selves. Our ideas, culture, values, beliefs are prerequisites that defines our personality and attitude towards things. The ability to channel emotions properly eludes some of us. Channelling our emotions, thoughts and words in a socially acceptable manner is another challenge .
Sometimes the problem is not just limited to us. We find ourselves in an environment whose values, culture & practices contradicts ours and clash of thoughts & principles are inevitable. We struggle with people who see us as villains, delinquents, violent and misguided because of our diverse beliefs.
Other times, the problem lies in the society. The society is engrossed in stereotyping and people start to forget that humans are unique beings and will manifest unique qualities. We expect everyone to see things in the same way we do, to share our views without disagreements. All these are indestructible fuel for conflicts.

GIVE ME MORE.
Give me more.
The society demands your contribution to its development.
Our craving for wealth, success and fame increases with each bite of success.
Give me more.
We demand better choices, opportunities from our loved ones and the world.
We seek peace, tranquility, economic and social independence for ourselves.
Give me more.
We strive for a disease-free life, good water and food supply.
We strive to alleviate the sufferings of refugees and less privileged.
We seek justice for the oppressed.
Give me more.
We desire unconditional love, attention and doting from our loved ones and people around us.
We seek social acceptance from people.
We seek to break away from stereotypes we are labelled with.
Give me more.
We compete for better living standards for people.
We battle with our emotional conflicts to attain happiness and balance.
With desperation we seek to live long in luxury.
Give me more.
The crowd push is to our limits with their applause.
The world demands our innovations and disregard our common ideas.
The world awaits our unique, life changing ideas and actions.
Give me more.
Our sense of accomplishment becomes insatiable with every win.
We seek perfection in all we do.
We seek to have everyone at our call and service.
Give me more.
We demand a Messiah to save us from penury, conflicts and challenges.
We seek recognition for our plights, and seek attention for unnoticed regions for their development.
Give me more.
We expect unquestioned trust, understanding and tolerance from from everyone who meets us.
We want to be the one controlling how events unfolds in our lives and around us.
We desire unrivaled acceptance of all our thoughts and acts.
With each passing day we demand for more.

DO YOU NEED HELP?
A lot of controversies surround seeking aid from people around us, ranging from people being too dependent ,impolite and arrogant to admit that they require people's intervention. How often do you seek people's intervention? Does seeking help make us seem weak and incompetent? Does seeking help limit our potentials on problem solving and critical thinking? Seeking help may seem like a way to learn from others and to others it may seem like showing the world our weaknesses.
Seeking help has become people's undoing and nemesis because they seek aid at the wrong time from the wrong people and too frequently. Rather than thinking, reflecting and strategising ways to solve a problem, some would rather give in to challenges and seek people's intervention to help them face their challenges. When a challenge comes up, they neither explore their potentials and apply critical thinking to analyse the situation nor strategize plan that will tackle the problem and prevent future occurrences.
Seeking help has built some of us, made us more productive and improved our skills. When faced with a challenge, it may destabilize our emotional balance, disrupt the sequence of achievement we have set as goals and we will need to evaluate our actions which leads us to learn from mistakes we made. Challenges make us realise the need to modify & change our plans and this helps to build our resilience, helps us explore our potentials, skills through critical thinking. Our emotional intelligence is boosted as we gain knowledge, ideas and reviews from other people which helps us understand and tolerate people more. It helps us gain diverse views that will provide solutions to our problems. It makes us try out new, modified methods of guidance to what we want to achieve.

ALONE OR NOT?
At the end, we will always be alone even when surrounded by a thousand loved ones but this is a feat we obfuscate and have difficulty accepting. Even when we are born our family show us love, care for our needs but in the end it is left for us and our body to utilise all that it gets in its functioning.
Humans are gregarious beings but the extend to which we socialise and build relationships depends on our experiences, personality and environment. We all have a person or more whom we hold dear and may entrust our affairs to.
Our family will show us love, support and care depending on the relationship we have developed. Our friends will defend our honor, swear their loyalty to us and even try to help us overcome our deficit. All these display of care and love have made us believe the truthful lie that we are not alone.
From conception to the time of death we will always be alone and accountable for our deeds. Our loved ones learn to love us and care for us because of that which binds us together :friendship, humanity and family. As we grow older, we need people to associate with, to talk to, connect with on every sphere of life hence we start a symbiotic sometimes parasitic relationship with the ones we call friends.

EGOCENTRIC VIOLENCE.
Violence has manifested itself in various forms with different people around us and the disturbing thing is that it is on the increase and has no gender, race or age limitations. Rape, paedophilia, Child Abuse, physical assault, domestic violence are just few robes violence masquerades itself with.
Societal laws, religious doctrine, cultural values all forbids violence in any form yet we still find people indulged in it. The baffling part of the story is that whatever angle we may look at it, all violence originates from a scar or trauma to our ego. When we feel a need to claim our superiority, feel a need to defend our wounded pride, feel helpless about a situation, we let out lethal words or direct our physical strength against people, things whom may or may not have hurt us.
Violence is a wildfire that burns beyond the expectations of that whom ignited the fire. Once we reach that peak of emotional turmoil and cross the line of reasoning, we seek ways to express our frustrations, anger, this is when harsh words, physical assault may be an option to some. Some of us feel it is the only way out voice will be heard, our respect can be heard.
Using violence, oppressions, and verbal assault may seem like the best option and we never know how much damage we have caused until the consequences of our actions manifest upon the people affected by our words, acts and behavior.
When viewed from another context which is the law, sometimes violence have to be used in human interaction to ensure compliance to laws as written in our constitution. Death sentence, hard labor, chemical sterilization are violent but legal ways to bring order and balance to the society. When this happens we overlook it because we realise that it is a means of protecting humanity and ensuring peace.

CELEBRATIONS.
When we experience that brisk feeling of selfaccomplishment and happiness, we actively or subconsciously seek ways to express them and that is what we call celebration. People erroneously believe to celebrate you have to spend a lot of time, resources and money frolicking around and gloating about your achievements but most times it may be less or beyond that.
Celebration may just be that genuine smile, laughter and joy that you give and feel when you achieve your goals.
Celebration might be receiving verbal praises & recommendations as well as singing and dancing.
Celebration may be that word of gratitude you say to your creator and that act of charity you indulge in to help those that need what you have in excess or limitations.
The way we celebrate our success, achievements and positive state of mind and feelings depends on our values, beliefs and principles about life hence why some express it in organising parties while some reflect on it or just share the positive news with family, friends and loved ones to hear their views, encouragement, delight then move on.
The best kind of celebration has to be when you acknowledge other people's success, listen to the story behind their sense of fulfillment. This act gives you motivation, makes you believe more in yourself and broadens your perspective on ways to restructure your own goal-oriented plans.
When things seem difficult or favorable, let us always take a moment to reevaluate ourselves and appreciate our efforts and we will gradually achieve that sense of fulfillment we seek.

I HAVE FOUND MY PEACE.
What does peace mean to you? Is it limited to having no worries and difficulty to tackle?
I have found my peace in the gentle wind that blows down south.
I have found my peace in the tide, waves, color and smell of the sea.
I have found my peace in the beautiful green and wildlife around me that makes up nature.
I have found my peace in the soothing smell of rain hitting sand.
I have found my peace in hearing about innovations and inventions to make the world a better place.
I have found my peace in seeing the helpless receiving relief, aids and support to thrive.
I have found my peace in seeing smile on people's faces and hearing their story of gratitude.
I have found my peace in seeing the oppressed getting justice and being treated with love and dignity.
I have found my peace in being alive and healthy to strive to be better.
I have found my peace in being grateful and content with the little I have.
I have found my peace in the gentle words of encouragement, love and peace I receive and I have shared.
I have found my peace realising our diversity is a gift to more innovations from diverse ideas shared.
I have found my peace in having a special connection with my creator and God.
I have found my peace in rising above my failures and disappointments.
I have found my peace in family bonded by blood, kindness, love and loyalty.
I have found my peace in seeking out greatness for those I care about.
I have found my peace achieving my goals, growing emotionally and psychologically.
I have found my peace when the ones I care about are happy and achieve their goals.

Daily Gratitude
Whether it is morning, afternoon or night, we have a period of the day that we mentally assess our achievements of the day. We compare our day's achievements against the goals we set and estimation we made.
Sometimes the whole universe seem to be in our favor, with everything working out well as if we orchestrated it all. Other timeout may seem that the world has been given thescript of our lives and must struggle for the ways to ruin all our plans. Whatever happens during the day, we have to remain content with the knowledge that we survived the day and may have another day.
We should realise that being alive is a blessing we should be grateful for. Only when we are alive do we have the chance to struggle to achieve our dreams.
Being alive is enough consolation whenever you are feeling unhappy, unfufilled. Rest when you can while planning more effective ways to achieve our goals.

SOMETIMES GIVE UP?
"Never give up" is not a new mantra to us, rather it has become an integral part of motivation and daily activities for us. The confusing truth is that giving up is also what makes us better.
"Giving up " in this context refers to accepting our weaknesses, realising we need to restrategise our plans, reevaluate our actions and set goals for ourselves, which can only be done when we accept that we have failed and we need to work harder.
Never giving up is when we persevere with challenges we face, using our goals as a driving force to achieve success.
The reason we will still vehemently refute the concept that we "give up" is because we don't even have time to evaluate ourselves and achievements. We mindlessly chase our goals forgetting that the results of our evaluation is the true determinant of our achievements.

FIRST DECEPTION LASTS LONGER.
They say first impressions lasts longer but is that always the situation? Should we limit all our judgement and association with a person on the first contact we had with them? Do people still seem the same as the first time we met them?
It is not usually enough to judge people by the circumstances and occurrences of our first encounter. Most people carefully plan out their actions, attitude, speech, dressings and even seek out knowledge on the person of intended interest, so they will be able to effect an alteration in their behaviors and actions. All these pre-meeting activities may be labelled as fraud since the behavior are not as a result of natural response to situation, rather they are pre-planned just for the pleasure of the intended human.
It is sometimes just apt to judge the skill, potential, character and entire persona of a person from just the first meeting. The concept that every human is a unique being with unique characteristics goes a long way to tell us that no matter the situation we find ourselves in, a fragment of our true selves surface.

HUMAN MARGINALISATION.
Racism,
ethnocentrism and social stratification have always been a sensitive topic with
no conclusive debate to provide an answer to resolve it.
Feeling
cheated, under-priviledged, stigmatized and stereotyped because of our
nationality, race, gender, religion and physical attributes is not alien to us.
We still find ourselves in unavoidable arguments to prove our worth and correct
any misconceptions & stereotype about our race, family and religion. We point
out reasonable facts and situations that shows that we are not as bad as we are
perceived.
Frustrations
and anger is usually a common emotional conflict we battle with when our rights
are trampled upon. When things don’t work our way, we are swift to point out
that we were not favored because of our sociocultural differences which are
sometimes true.

THE GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE'S OPPOSITION (PT2).
The word "opposition political party" we are all fretting over is just a mirage to me. There is no opposition as the current government is dominated by people from the preceding government/administration. When this political immigrants then starts blaming the previous government for the economy's deterioration, I begin to wonder why no one realise that the blame is actually addressing the speakers.
Getting engrossed in fighting the government we don't want in power or political opponents that we don't notice that those we should be fighting instead of ourselves and interests are still the ones in power but under a rebranded political party/agenda.
Our blames and tackling the government/opposition can only be effective when we divert our agitations into removing corrupt, unproductive government and replacing them with competent, honest and dedicated leaders irrespective of their political parties.

THE GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE'S OPPOSITION (PT 1)
Everyone is trying to keep up with the fluctuations in our economy. We are all trying to gain our balance and market values with the change of government we face presently. We need to find solutions to this economic meltdown before it melts out our existence and sadly I am just an individual with no political experience.
Achieving economic stability has become a motivation for some of us to rebrand ourselves for a better value of our services while some of us are still absorbed trying to trace the source of our socioeconomic disequilibrium which has led to a lot of political and physical assault on the opposition and person to blame.
Identifying the source of the present economic destabilisation has resulted in opposing effects on the masses. The knowledge of the cause has been a guide for government intervention and this knowledge has also fueled unending blame cycle rather than action in some regions leading to further deterioration of the economy.
It is not unusual for government to announce the state of economy they take over from and briefing the masses about how changes will be achieved. The unusual thing is that the government blame all the failures/stagnancy of the economy on the preceding government without executing any action to correct it. This blame cycle is even worse when the preceding government is from an opposing political party but the interesting thing about this blame cycle is that we operate an open political system and political aspirants can move freely in between different political parties without restrictions. This freedom of association in political parties and interest only leads to rebranding of corrupt leaders as they wreck the economy under the preceding party and move to the new party masquerading as saints who may surprisingly even criticise the administration of the past government.

TOO YOUNG TO DECIDE.
As despicable as it is, child marriages/paedophillia is very common in our societies even with strong criticism and laws enacted against it. This disgraceful act is usually accompanied with child slavery and trafficking.
Even as I write, I have tears streaming down my cheeks and feel this soul crushing pain that makes one empty because I know we have not able to stop these abominable act. Those who should be advocating an annihilation and punishment for violators are even those engaged in it.
Statistics gotten is not enough to determine its occurrence because most people affected feel too helpless to report or seek justice. Cultural influence and stigmatisation is a steady fuel supply for this wild fire burning and scalding human dignity.
Every country has its unique legal age and this legal age may even be the genesis of our problems because even before this age, children seek independence over actions but puberty is usually linked to this behavioural change which I partially agree with.

CUSTOMER CARE SERVICES.
Nothing is more infuriating than getting substandard service for your money and effort. Simultaneously, nothing may seem more gratifying than walking up to the customer service and giving them a piece of your mind. This criticism, verbal assault we give them at the customer relations centres has caused fued on if it is the right medium to express our discontentment.
Nobody likes to be insulted neither do we like to take blame for the action of others yet we can do this to the customer care officers who may have little or no influence in the services we pay for. We yell at these representatives of the service we received and expect them not to argue or may even demand an answer depending on our values.
Expressing our thought, anger and dissatisfaction about a product/services is a good thing because it enlightens the company on their deficits, motivating them to work harder.

NUDE EXPRESSIONS.
Nudity is fast becoming a leading medium for people to express themselves and exercise their right to "freedom of expression". Culture and norms are also leading opposition to nudity. The point that nudity is a way we can express confidence in ourselves and we only fuel sexual deviances/crimes is not a new debate to us.
Everyone in this debate seem to be correct because they have reasons to justify their beliefs about nudity. This triggers questions like; Is nudity the right way to express ourselves? Does covering up our body guarantee a good attitude? Are nudist sexual deviants ?
We justify our criticism to nudity with the fact that it contradict our cultural and religious beliefs as well as norms but this reason is quickly intercepted with the fact that there are pictorial evidence of our people scantly clad in traditional wears, revealing outfits and adornment both in the past and present. This evidence has become a tool for nudist to label critics as hippocrites.

TEST TO JUDGE.
Consistently, we find ourselves wanting to test the loyalty, love and support our loved ones have towards us. The "test" have become a sensitive topic that should be treated with caution.
We believe that the only way to overcome our insecurity of trustworthiness of our loved ones is to plan a situation that will help us know the attitude and behaviour of our unsuspecting loved ones to the situation/scenario we have created.
We have come to understand the true intentions of people around us by "testing them" and this would give us an insight on how to relate with them and gain understanding on their perception to an action.
We have also witnessed broken friendship bonds, relationship ties have been severed when the response/ behaviour exhibited during our test is not acceptable to our values, beliefs and morals

WEB FAME FRENZY.
Living in the "computer age" has rapidly become a necessity for our daily lives. The Internet has become the most rapid source for knowledge, interaction and even exchange of ideas and services.
The internet has created opportunities for our services and ideas to be exhibited to the world . Simultaneously , the Internet and social medias have become an arena for people to gain fame, glamour and attention even at the expense of defaming the character of others.
Our desire to be recognised globally have bred desperate and cruel people who would make spiteful comments on sensitive matters or even ignite conflicts just to get attention and fame. We may not necessarily support the view we are portraying and may not even understand the concept we bigotly support yet we vehemently refuse to correct our socially wrong concepts.

CRUCIFY OURS, REDEEM THEIRS.
Nothing hastens up a conflict faster than when our people condemn us but praise another person for the action we have committed. This act of hypocrisy is firmly rooted within our society and it relies on our biased nature to grow.
We deliberately try to obfuscate violation of rules & norms that strangers or people of diverse culture have indulged in yet lambaste people with the same cultural component as us. Examples ranges from condemning indigenous actor & praising foreign ones, condemning and crucifying nudity in our people but clamoring support for a “pitiful Stanger” and even shamelessly linking blames to the helpless/orphaned children around us but creating funds/support group for other children.

BE ASSERTIVE.
It is not uncommon for us to feel unsure of our thoughts, actions and decisions. We say things like " What if I am wrong? , I don't think I can do this, Am not sure I can do this, Don't want people to know am the one". These actions and thoughts has become our undoing as well as preventing us from utilising our potential to its peak.
Being sure and confident of one's self is very important since people want to associate with people and things that they can have a sense of guarantee that it is synthetic.
When we become too sure and confident about ourselves can be dangerous too. When we set up a high standard of accountability of ourselves but deliver substandard services, innovations & plan as we have portrayed, people lose interest in us.

EMOTION CONFIDANT
There is nothing more disappointing than realising a shared memory we hold so dear to us has been heard by unpermitted third party or even the public . It hurts to realise that a person we trusted with our memories has disappointed us even if the memory may seem insignificant to us.
The desire to have power over the information we are willing to share about ourselves is undeniable and acknowledged by most of us. No matter how indifferent we may act to people's opinion, we still desire that feeling of security about our lives and activities.
The increasing rate of betrayal of trust with information we share is responsible for hostility people exhibit to strangers . The fear of associating with people who may eventually reveal thoughts, values and memories we cherish has gradually influenced most of our decision to keep to ourselves and we are so obdurate to realise that being open can be beneficial or dangerous.

EQUALITY
What does equality mean to you? Is it to have even distribution of facilities, opportunities and power shared amongst people? Or is it to get justification and suppoto when we indulge in acts that people of diverse culture have engaged in with no criticism?
Equality has diverse meaning to each individual but do we really desire equality or superiority? We want both gender to have equal opportunities at work without discrimination yet we would solicit for lighter workload and equal paycheck for both genders.
We want equality yet we are biased in judgement to offence committed to a gender claiming an action can only be wrong when a gender does this. A clear example is a fan girl running up the stage to hug or grab a male artists or athlete on the pitch ;this action will earn delight in the sight of most people but rapidly leads to lambaste & criticism if the gender involved were reversed.

WHO TO BLAME.
The blame game is no news to our daily life activities. Whenever we find ourselves in an unpleasant situation, we seek to find the person or thing that caused it. When things fail or don't go as we planned, we vehemently refuse to accept that it may be due to our actions, instead we someone's interference to it.
Linking blames can be beneficial if we can confront the person who interfered with our plans and explain why we feel they are responsible for it. Blames can be benefial if we have thoroughly analysed our disappointments & failures and we are only trying to identify the root cause of the disappointment so we can design a better plan.
Alas!!! people don't try to move on to a better plan after the disappointment. We usually seek to wallow in regrets and attribute our disappointments to a person or thing rather than strategising & engaging in a new plan.

LEGAL CRIMES.
In the wake of school shootings, racial discrimination in justice, police stray bullets & shoot outs, individual possession of weapons, unjustified arrests, am sure we have all been analysing the validity of our law & it's justice in relation to crimes committed.
The laws we made has exposed us to danger, violence and discrimination. Law enforcement agencies are permitted under the law to whatever methods possible to bring people to justice which includes violence and shootings which are done erroneously to innocent people. This same legal system has helped us bring criminals as convicted by the law to justice with the strategy of disarming , car chase which has been a good thing. This brings us to the question that are our laws just or criminal & unjust?

HUMAN RIGHTS OPPRESSION
Everyone is entitled to freedom of speech, association and other rights found in the constitution in different countries, yet we still rise everyday to fight for a cause that may primarily be our righy. All these brings us to the question that " Are our human rights exercised fully?" I have seen people suffer brutality in close contact when they try to plead their cause.
Stray bullets, horse whips, physical assault, unjustified arrests has been the outcome for exercising or demanding for our rights are allowed. You must be wondering why no law enforcement agency didn't stop all these autrocities. The saddening reason is that the law representatives are usually the one sent by "people in power" to subdue our uprising and we often oppress people too just for display of power and authority.
Enslaved to accept the fate of oppression, we watch our rights and humanity trampled upon because some people have been placed above the law. The legislature are often the one that makes the law and violate the rules.

THE PAYBACK
The saying that "what goes around comes around " and "You shall reap what you sow" have become a theory to people with doubts attached to it. Can we blame those who feel this way? The answer is a "Yes" and a " No". Yes because the truth can't be hidden forever and our decisions will eventually catch up with us with consequences whether good or bad. No because before the truth behind the mysteries and lies unravel, damage may have been done to lives and properties of those around.
The world has become so hostile that everyone is struggling hard to be feared and seen as a formidable force to be respected whether right or wrong. When people hurt us physically or on any other level, we seek their suffering or "payback" as we may term it. Some of us so won't stop until we get the person wrecked emotionally, physically and in any other way we can.
The insatiable desire to "punish" people has eaten deep into the flesh that we may go as far as false accusations, rumors, sabotages just to destroy the source of happiness of the one who hurt us or refuse to play by our rules.

URBAN UPGRADE.
That’s so classy!! That is so civilized!! Is all we recently started craving. The idea to be seen as urban and cool in our dressing, talking, principles has become an addiction we cant overcome. We shamelessly abandon all personal principles we have, just to impress people around us.
We wear clothes because everyone is wearing a similar one, but when we check deep within our subconscious level, we realize we don’t feel comfortable & confident in the cloth. We only wore the cloth just to get the same attention and appreciation those who wore the cloth attracted.
When we fail to achieve the satiety we seek to get from the fashion and lifestyle we emulate, we are stimulated to do more and push the boundaries to create “our own style” which we may not necessarily find comfortable.
Following fashion trends can equally be fulfilling and be a factor in giving us the opportunity to explore other people’s preference in fashion and lifestyle principles.

REGRETS AND REGRESSION.
When we find ourselves in unforgivable mood reminiscing our past actions and wishing we had engaged in some actions to avert the situation we find ourselves in. This deep thought which often fills us with sorrow is what we call regret and reaction to it varies ,as well as how far we allow it to affect our present /future actions also varies.
We may claim we have no regrets in our lives or past decisions but is this really so? I think regret can only be felt when we acknowledge our failures, or unfulfilled desires and see the situation we find ourselves as irredeemable.
Regrets most times slow down our success and motivation because the time we should spend on working towards achieving our aims, or constructing a better plan, we waste it wishing we had more control over the situation that cause us grief.

SINCERITY
Sincerity is a virtue that is gradually being buried beneath the sands of time because we have continually ignored its importance and this ignorance is now back to hunt us. Some of us make up stories just to appear alluring to people around us. When we really look at the whole issue, we realize we feel hurt whenever we find out that someone was insincere with us or they want to take advantage of our sincerity and hurt our emotions.
We easily “fool” others with our lies and “modified truth” yet demand truthfulness in return. The whole society has become a place where sincerity earns you no good but expose you to danger from those who seek to exploit what you have.
Whether we would admit it or not, we still value sincerity and would strive to keep people with this virtue around us. As a result of defence mechanism against the cold reality of life, some of us choose not to say the truth always so that we can discover the true intention of the person we are associating with.
