NUDE EXPRESSIONS.

Nudity is fast becoming a leading medium for people to express themselves and exercise their right to "freedom of expression". Culture and norms are also leading opposition to nudity. The point that nudity is a way we can express confidence in ourselves and we only fuel sexual deviances/crimes is not a new debate to us.
Everyone in this debate seem to be correct because they have reasons to justify their beliefs about nudity. This triggers questions like; Is nudity the right way to express ourselves? Does covering up our body guarantee a good attitude? Are nudist sexual deviants ?
We justify our criticism to nudity with the fact that it contradict our cultural and religious beliefs as well as norms but this reason is quickly intercepted with the fact that there are pictorial evidence of our people scantly clad in traditional wears, revealing outfits and adornment both in the past and present. This evidence has become a tool for nudist to label critics as hippocrites.

Nudist critics recoil fast from verbal assaults of the nudist to emphasise that time has changed and change needs to be embraced. They argue that sexual deviances were not rampant then because body exposure was viewed as culture but body exposure is now for attention seeking and furthermore affects psychological development of children.
The bitter truth is that this issue may seem unending owing to our diversity in culture, exposure, race, gender, religion and personal beliefs. The unique individual differences we possess is the basis on which we set our principles.
Our actions are usually guided by societal rules and laws. Nudity has not been fully accepted by these societal guides so even when someone tries to break from the norm by practising it, they attract lambaste , admiration and slurs.
We shouldn't limit our self expression to actions that are not socially accepted. There are different ways to express ourselves without being labeled as a deviant. Writing, singing, dancing and painting are part of the many ways we can express ourselves which will still attract criticism from people with opposing ideas.
Our expressions should be geared towards engaging in things to make the world a better place and find solutions to human problems. Human beings may be quick to criticise things they are not familiar with ,so before we do anything , we should be able to analyse the aftermath of decisions and decide if it would add value to our lives or wellbeing .
Knowing that our actions affects the turnout of things around us is enough guide for us to be able to decide the appropriate ways to express ourselves. What is wrong today, may become acceptable tomorrow.
