When we experience that brisk feeling of selfaccomplishment and happiness, we actively or subconsciously seek ways to express them and that is what we call celebration. People erroneously believe to celebrate you have to spend a lot of time, resources and money frolicking around and gloating about your achievements but most times it may be less or beyond that.
Celebration may just be that genuine smile, laughter and joy that you give and feel when you achieve your goals.
Celebration might be receiving verbal praises & recommendations as well as singing and dancing.
Celebration may be that word of gratitude you say to your creator and that act of charity you indulge in to help those that need what you have in excess or limitations.
The way we celebrate our success, achievements and positive state of mind and feelings depends on our values, beliefs and principles about life hence why some express it in organising parties while some reflect on it or just share the positive news with family, friends and loved ones to hear their views, encouragement, delight then move on.
The best kind of celebration has to be when you acknowledge other people's success, listen to the story behind their sense of fulfillment. This act gives you motivation, makes you believe more in yourself and broadens your perspective on ways to restructure your own goal-oriented plans.
When things seem difficult or favorable, let us always take a moment to reevaluate ourselves and appreciate our efforts and we will gradually achieve that sense of fulfillment we seek.
