DECISION MAKING

People say whatever you do it’s your choice and the decision you make will affect your life. What is my take on this? Well, they are right and wrong at the same time and I am sure you want to know why…fine I will tell you.
Most times whether we believe it or not we don’t make our own decision it is the world and environmental fate that makes  it for us but being humans that we are, we obfuscate and delude ourselves to think that we made our own decisions ourselves.
A student reads so hard with the decision made to pass but focuses on some topic more than the others being taught and there is a lazy student who has no mindset about an exam and just flips through her notes, get passed more than the hard worker, people get tempted to wonder if the “hard worker” was just posing to be reading or is he just a blockhead.
In this situation the decision has been made for the hard worker by his tutors, marking scheme and the world at large.
In my view decision making has to be a 2-way process because people say you have to be optimistic at all times ,don’t forget life is not a bed of roses so to live a fulfilled life you always walk on two paths at the same time. You have to plan for both success and failure to have a stable mind and make your success last longer.
The fact that people don’t plan for failure as well is one of those things that is a leading cause of frustrated and disrupted lives people live instead of the greatness they are meant for.
We forget that to have an interesting success story to impact on the world you have to go through hardship with a smile on your face and a back-up plan ready for a spring-back surprise win against odds.
To make a decision, I will recommend you take a deep breath , forget your worries for a moment and think about at least 3 different approach to the “issue” on ground and combine all 3 strategies into 1 whole plan that would be made in such a way to combat negativity of the “external environment”
Some will say have a personal timetable ,of course that works but humans are not restricted beings so plans change a lot so why don’t you put these 3 factors into consideration:
        I.            Spiritual wholeness; good relationship with God.
II.            Directed preparation; reading all related articles to the task, having all required document for the task and necessary actions taken.
III.            Mindset; have a positive outlook to the result of the task but leave a little percentage at the back of your mind on how to bounce back if failure occurs.
Above all you need to choose a suitable environment with the right people around you so even when you take decisions the environment will be favourable for the decision to succeed with positive guidance and support of people around you.
