FRIENDSHIP

                                                                FRIENDSHIP.
People say “show me your friend and I will tell you who you are” and I just smile because it is one of the things that make me a critic.
With the little years I have spent on this earth I have come to realize that it is true and untrue also because these days whether we admit it or not we make friends for our personal gain and to gain favor of people.
Putting sentiments aside now and talking with a free mind I would agree that your friends depicts the kind of person you are because most people are weak-minded beneath all the facade of the” strong man” role we play and get influenced in our actions gradually and our mindset changes gradually with us accepting things we generally don’t like before.
My experience with that is I used to think everyone who is still single should not engage in any sexual activity till marriage but with the path I have chosen for a profession and daily experience with people I have realized that you have to consider peoples thought and let go of your bias to have a healthy relationship with people but still hold on to your principles in a polite way without raising a ruckus.
The only situation where the above adage wouldn’t work is in bigot people who may be uneasy to influence.
We all need friends for a healthy mind and to cope with life stress, someone to talk to when you are upset but sometimes that person may not necessarily be a friend but yourself and parents. No human can survive on his own because even those who rise up to become successful from hurt should be grateful to those “haters” because they acted the role of “indirect friendship” only that they were bad friends but still remain top contributing factor to his success.
In my opinion having only good friends sometimes may not help you because we need both.
Good friends show you the way, encourage you, laugh with you and do positive things with you and try to help you fight against things that drop your mood while the bad friends bring you to the balance you need, the make you realize the choice of good & evil ,striving for success to outdo them, setting up standard so as not to be like them or be associated with them.
So, if you don’t have a bad friend or hater you still have to make balance to your lifestyle. If you have too many friends you need to be mindful also. But all these won’t matter if you’re not a good friend yourself, you can’t rely on your thoughts, actions and way of handling situation.
Therefore you got to do it right, make the right friend and if there are no good ones, use the bad ones as a motivation for your “breakthroughs” and don’t forget to thank both the good & bad ones for making you successful
