HASTEN UP

Everyone is striving to have things happen for them at a speedy rate. We want items delivered quickly, become successful at a young age, and virtually desire good things happen to us soonest.
We have to "make may hay while the sun shines" and still have to be patient because "Rome wasn't built in a day". These 2 conflicting principles often makes people indecisive and influence some wrong decisions made.

Delay in actions and thinking can trully be dangerous if the choices we have need a hasty decision. An example is a medical emergency; a delay in first aid till the appropriate surgical or medical attention at the hospital, can result in poor prognosis.
Haste in action can likewise be dangerous too, when you make a decision without considering its consequences on the life of people around and future decision.
On sincere analysis and evaluation of decisions made whether in hasty situations and time abundant setting, we would realise that the time we get from both situations are actually enough for us to make the right decision.
Critical thinking and prioritising is the skill we need to develop. We should always quickly analyse what is the cause of the situation and choices we have, the effect of the choices on our lives both immediately and later.
We need to connect ourselves to people of the various walks of life and know the appropriate one to call for help when we eventually find ourselves at a crossroad of decision that it's result looks bleak. The ability to recognise if it is our family, security agencies, health professionals we need and those we would need to keep a distance from for the appropriate decision making.
Hasty decision making and delayed decision making can both lead to regret and happiness/success simultaneously if we learn the art of self action evaluation as well as as critical thinking.
Whatever situation we find ourselves in, we should never ignore the weak urge to analyse the situation's cause, how to prevent further damage  and formulate backup plans to manage the situation.
Preventive planning is the key to avoiding "hasty situations"
